Created For Family
Reading: Genesis 1:26-28; Ephesians 1:3-6
Devotional: Before the foundation of the world, God dreamed of family. He didn't create us as mere servants or distant subjects—He formed us in His image to be His children. Like George Bailey's father longing for his son to join the family business, our Heavenly Father desires intimate relationship with us. We weren't created to perform our way into His love; we were created to belong. Before sin ever entered the picture, before rules and regulations, God established relationship. Today, pause and consider: Are you living as God's beloved child, or are you still trying to earn what's already been freely given? You are not an orphan performing for approval—you are family, cherished and chosen before time began.
