Devotional: Life does not wait until you are ready before it gets complicated. Trials arrive uninvited, often when faith feels most fragile. Yet James does not say to pretend the pain away. He says to consider it joy — a deliberate, chosen perspective rooted in what God is producing, not what you are presently feeling. The testing of your faith is not evidence that God has forgotten you. It is evidence that God trusts you with the process. Today, ask God for wisdom. He will give it without finding fault in your questions.

Personal Reflection: What trial are you currently facing that you have not yet surrendered to God? What would it look like to approach it with intentional trust rather than dread?

Practical Application: Write down one complicated situation you are carrying. Beside it, write one thing God might be producing in you through it.
