Reading: Matthew 25:14-30 -- The parable of the talents describes a master who entrusts different amounts to different servants, then returns to settle accounts based on what each did with what they were given.

Devotional: God does not measure your faithfulness by comparing it to someone else's portion. The servant who received two talents and doubled them received the same commendation as the one who received five. Faithfulness is not about the size of what you have been given -- it is about what you do with it. The danger is burying what God has entrusted to you out of fear, comparison, or complacency. You have been given time, gifts, relationships, and opportunities. None of that is accidental. God placed those things in your hands on purpose, and he is watching to see what you will do with them.
