Day 3: Treasure, Trust, and Letting Go
Reading: Matthew 6:19-34
Devotional: Jesus connects treasure, worry, and trust in one flowing teaching. Where your treasure is, your heart will follow. If your treasure is your financial security, your heart will live in anxiety. If your treasure is Christ, your heart can rest. Jesus does not call his followers to be careless with resources -- he calls them to be free from the fear that comes from trusting in those resources. God knows what you need before you ask. He feeds the birds and clothes the fields. You are worth far more to him than these. Let that truth replace your worry today.
