Reading: 1 Peter 5:8-11

Devotional: Athaliah's massacre wasn't just political ambition—it was spiritual warfare aimed at destroying God's redemptive plan. If she had killed Joash, the line of David would have ended, and Jesus wouldn't have come. The enemy still prowls, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. He attacks your future, your children, your hope—anything connected to God's purposes. But Peter reminds us: God Himself will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. The devil's schemes are real, but God's sovereignty is greater. What looks like random tragedy or personal attack may be the enemy's attempt to derail God's plan through you. Stand firm. Resist. The God of all grace has called you to His eternal glory.
