Day 4: The Power of Covenant Community

Reading: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Hebrews 10:24-25

Devotional: Abishai wasn't a stranger who randomly saved David—he was covenant family. David's nephew knew him well enough to recognize when the king was in trouble. This rescue happened because relationship existed before crisis arrived.

Who knows when you're struggling? Who can speak truth into your life without you becoming defensive? These aren't casual questions—they're survival questions. A cord of three strands is not easily broken. Isolation makes you vulnerable; community makes you strong. Stop being difficult. Stop hiding behind your bubble. Let people in before the giant shows up. The church isn't a building you attend; it's an army you fight with. Your brothers and sisters aren't optional accessories—they're essential armor. Build covenant relationships now, before you need rescue.

Reflection: Who is your Abishai? Whose Abishai are you?
