Reading: Proverbs 3:5-6 — A call to trust God completely, to resist leaning on personal understanding, and a promise that He will direct your path when you submit to Him in all your ways.

Devotional: Trusting God does not require having all the answers first. It requires choosing to believe that God holds the answers you do not yet have. Leaning on your own understanding is not just an intellectual habit — it is a posture of the heart that says, I need to make sense of this before I can move forward. But faith, by its very nature, moves forward before everything is resolved. Joseph trusted God through betrayal and imprisonment. David trusted God through years of waiting. You can have a full list of unanswered questions and still choose to walk in trust. The two are not opposites.

Personal Reflection: What question have you been waiting for God to answer before you fully surrender an area of your life to Him? What would it look like to surrender it now, question and all?

Practical Application: Identify one area where you have been leaning on your own understanding. Write a simple prayer surrendering that area to God, questions included.
