Day 5: Bearing Fruit That Lasts

Reading: Galatians 5:22-25

Devotional: The evidence that you belong to Christ isn't just what you say you believe—it's the fruit your life produces. When the Holy Spirit controls your life, love wells up from the inside out. Joy becomes an inner reality regardless of circumstances. Peace settles in your soul even during storms. Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control begin to characterize who you are. This fruit brings glory to the Father and proves you're His disciple. It's not manufactured by trying harder; it flows naturally when you stay connected to the vine. A church worth loving is a church where lives are actually being changed—where the fruit of the Spirit is evident, where people overcome their past, and where love transforms everything. Today, examine your life. What fruit is growing?

Reflection Question: Which fruit of the Spirit do you need to cultivate more intentionally in your life, and what practical step will you take today?

Closing Prayer

Father, thank You for calling me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Thank You for making me Your temple, part of Your body, and Your beloved child. Help me to love my church—not because it's perfect, but because You're working through imperfect people to change lives. Give me courage to participate fully, to love sincerely, and to bear fruit that lasts. May my life be a testimony of Your transforming power. In Jesus' name, Amen.
