Day 5: Faithfulness and the Purpose You Cannot Yet See

Devotional: Ruth could not have known, kneeling in grief beside her bitter mother-in-law, that her faithfulness was being woven into the lineage of a king, and ultimately of a Savior. She was simply loving someone who was hard to love, staying when leaving would have been easier, serving without any visible reward. You rarely know the eternal impact of temporary faithfulness. The prayer you stop to pray, the conversation you choose not to rush, the small act of service done from a genuine heart -- God is working through all of it in ways you cannot yet see. Stay faithful. Stay surrendered. Trust that he is building something far greater than what is visible to you today.
