Day 5: Fighting Together or Losing Alone

Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Romans 12:4-8

Devotional: God designed His army with spearmen, mighty warriors, infantry, horsemen, and archers—each with unique roles, all equally necessary. The archers in the back weren't less important than the spearmen in front. Prayer warriors covering from behind are as vital as those engaging on the front lines.

You're not who you used to be, and that's okay. Maybe you can't hold the spear anymore, but you can ride the horse of experience. Maybe you can't run the front line, but you can shoot arrows of prayer. Every part matters. When each does its special work, the whole body grows healthy and strong. Stop comparing. Stop competing. Stop being high-maintenance. Find your place in rank and fight there with excellence. We win together or we lose alone. The choice is yours.

Reflection: What's your role in God's army today? Are you faithfully fighting in your position?
