Day 5: Look In, Look For, Look Up
Reading: Romans 8:28 — A declaration that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Also read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, where God's strength is shown to be made perfect in human weakness.
Devotional: Complicated moments are not wasted moments in the hands of God. They reveal what is inside us, expose where our faith is genuinely rooted, and produce things in us that comfort and ease never could. The invitation in every difficult season is threefold: look in to see what God is revealing, look for what God is producing, and look up to trust Him with what you cannot yet see. Weakness is not a spiritual failure. It is the very condition in which God's strength is most clearly displayed. The complications of your life are not disqualifiers. In God's hands, they are materials.
Personal Reflection: Looking back at a past season of difficulty, what did God reveal in you, produce in you, or ask you to trust Him with? How did that season shape your faith?
Practical Application: This week, share one thing God has taught you through a complicated season with someone who is currently in the middle of their own. Your story may be exactly what they need to hear.
