Day 5: Set a Fire in My Heart

Reading: Acts 14:27; 2 Corinthians 5:14-20

Devotional: When Paul and Barnabas returned from their missionary journeys, they gathered the church and reported all that God had done through them. Their hearts were set on fire with passion for the lost, and they couldn't help but share what God was doing. This is the heartbeat of a church worth loving—not perfection, but passion for God's mission. When God's love truly captures our hearts, we become ambassadors of reconciliation, carrying the message that lives can be changed. We're not called to judge who's worthy or who's too far gone. We're called to love, invite, serve, and trust God with the results. Let God set a fire in your heart that can't be contained—a burning desire to see others experience the transformation you've experienced. The question isn't whether God can use you; it's whether you're willing to be used.

Reflection Questions:

What would it look like for God to "set a fire" in your heart for the lost?
How will you participate in God's mission this week?
Closing Prayer: God, thank You for Your amazing grace that saved a wretch like me. Set a fire in my heart that burns for those who don't know Your love yet. Give me eyes to see, courage to invite, and genuine love to welcome. Make me part of the miracle of changed lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.
