Day 4: The Blood That Gives You Value

Reading: John 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:18-19

Devotional: A crumpled, dirty fifty-dollar bill still has value because authority declared it valuable. Similarly, no matter how broken or stained by sin you feel, you have immeasurable worth because of who created you and who redeemed you. Jesus didn't die for perfect people—He died for broken ones. His precious blood purchased your salvation and declared your value. You cannot do anything to make God love you more or less. The cross proves your worth once and for all. When shame whispers that you're worthless, remember Calvary. When guilt says you're too far gone, remember the empty tomb. You are valuable because the King of Kings said so.

Reflection Question: What lies about my worth do I need to replace with the truth of the cross?
