This week we kicked off our brand new series, "Lemonade", with one simple truth: Nobody plans for life’s struggles.

We plan vacations.

We plan parties.

We plan the good moments.

But nobody plans for disappointment, betrayal, anxiety, heartbreak, or the unexpected.

The good news? The lemons that catch us by surprise have never surprised God.

We learned that while we can’t control everything that happens to us, we can always control our response. And when we trust God with our toughest moments, He has a way of using what we’d rather avoid to grow us into who He’s called us to be.

• You can’t control what happens.

• You can control your response.

• God grows us through what we’d rather avoid.

Don’t waste your lemons. God isn’t finished with your story yet. 💛
