Day 3: Faith Over Fear
Reading: 2 Timothy 1:7; Psalm 56:3-4
Devotional: Fear is faith in the wrong things. It's believing God isn't big enough, that you aren't enough, that change is impossible. Moses was paralyzed by fear—fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of inadequacy. But God's response was clear: "I will be with you." The Holy Spirit hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. This doesn't mean you'll never feel afraid; it means you don't have to let fear drive your decisions. When fear whispers lies, hit the shift key. Choose to trust in God even when you don't feel it. Declare with David, "When I am afraid, I will trust in You." Your emotions may lag behind, but your faith can lead the way.
Reflection Question: What fear has been masquerading as wisdom in your life, and how can you replace it with trust today?
