Day 5: Surrendering Your Testimony
Reading: Exodus 4:1-5, 10-17; 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Devotional: Moses carried his shepherd's staff—a constant reminder of how low he had fallen, a testimony of failure and running from his calling. Yet God asked, "What's in your hand?" That very staff became the instrument through which God performed miracles. Your testimony, no matter how painful, is not wasted in God's hands. The hurts, the mistakes, the years in the wilderness—God can redeem all of it. But you must surrender it to Him. Stop hiding your past and start offering it to God for His purposes. Fix your eyes not on what you see but on what you cannot yet see. The shift from victim to victor, from failure to faithful, happens when you humble yourself and say, "God, use even this."
Reflection Question: What part of your testimony have you been hiding or resenting, and how might God want to use it for His glory?
Closing Prayer: God, I thank You that shift is possible. No matter how low I've gone or how long I've been stuck, You are the God of new beginnings. Help me to think higher, speak life, and walk in obedience. Break the cycles, renew my mind, and give me courage to trust You even when I can't see the way forward. In Jesus' name, Amen.
