Surrendering All

Reading: Luke 2:8-14

Devotional: "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests." The angels' proclamation reveals a beautiful exchange: when God receives the glory, we receive the favor and peace. Surrendering everything to God—our plans, our hurts, our fears, our control—positions us to experience His abundant life. This Christmas, your assignment is threefold: invest in family relationships (both biological and spiritual), take steps of faith even when they don't make sense, and release forgiveness to those who've hurt you. These aren't easy tasks, but in your weakness, His strength is made known. When you do the right thing, God gets the glory and you experience His peace. Trust Him—He has never failed you.

Reflection Questions:

What specific action will you take this week in family, faith, and forgiveness?
How can you position yourself to receive God's peace and favor this Christmas season?
Closing Prayer: Lord, help us embrace the true heart of Christmas—family, faith, and forgiveness. Give us courage to love intentionally, trust completely, and forgive freely. May You receive all the glory as we experience Your peace and favor. In Jesus' name, Amen.
