The Father Who Listens

Reading: Matthew 7:7-11; Luke 11:9-13

Devotional: Ralphie's father was listening when no one thought he was. He understood his son's deepest desire and provided it. Jesus teaches that if earthly fathers give good gifts, how much more will our Heavenly Father give to those who ask? God has been watching, listening, working—even when you thought He was distant. The gift you've been longing for may be right around the corner. Or perhaps God has something better prepared. Trust the Father's timing and wisdom. He hasn't forgotten your prayers. His love is active, His presence near. Rejoice today, knowing that God delights in blessing His children. Your hope is not misplaced.

Reflection Question: What prayer request will you trust God with today, believing He hears and cares?

Closing Prayer: Father, thank You for the indescribable gift of Jesus. Help me see my life through the lens of Your love. Guard my heart and mind with Your peace. Restore what's broken, heal what hurts, and remind me that You are always near. I choose to worship You with all my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
