Faithful With Who: Stewarding Messy Relationships
Can God trust you with messy people? That is the question at the heart of this week's message, and it is not an easy one to sit with. Relationships are complicated, people disappoint us, and sometimes the ones we love the most are the ones who hurt us the deepest.
We walked through the story of Job, a man who lost everything, his wealth, his children, his health, and even the support of his closest friends, yet never turned his back on God. His story reminds us that faithfulness does not mean life is painless. It means we keep showing up, keep praying, and keep trusting even when we do not understand.
Proverbs 3:3 calls us to let love and faithfulness never leave us. Job lived that out in the ashes. We can too.
Here is the challenge to carry into your week: if your faithfulness depends entirely on how faithfully people treat you, then their behavior controls your character. Do not let it. Let faithfulness have the final word.
