Faithful With What You Have Been Given

Sep 14, 2026  •  Pastor Jeff Lambert

What if the reason so many Christians struggle with faithfulness is not a willpower problem, but a connection problem? Jesus said in John 15 that no branch can bear fruit unless it remains attached to the vine. The fruit of faithfulness does not come from trying harder -- it grows when we stay connected to him.

Here is the truth that changes everything: everything in your hands was first in his. Psalm 24 reminds us that the earth and everything in it belongs to God. That means faithfulness is not about getting more for yourself -- it is about trusting God enough to open your hands and let him do more through you.

Matthew 6 puts it plainly. Where your treasure is, your heart will be also. When we seek his kingdom first, we stop worrying and start trusting the one who owns it all and never fails.

If you missed this message, come back and catch it. You do not want to walk away from this one unchanged.
