Choose Life: Renewing Your Mind Through Praise

Your thoughts are powerful—they shape your future. This Sunday, we explored how choosing what we magnify in our minds determines the direction of our lives. Will you magnify fear and problems, or will you magnify God?

The Bible tells us to be "transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). When Paul and Silas praised God in prison, their chains broke—but the miracle started in their minds first. Before anything changed around them, something changed within them.

What dominates your mind will eventually direct your life. You can't live a positive life with a poison thought life. Today is your day to choose differently. Set your mind on things that are true, noble, right, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). When you repent—literally "think different"—times of refreshing will come. Your praise is a weapon against the enemy's lies.

Choose life. Magnify God. Praise Him anyway.
